Disability Rights Iowa is partnering with a number of central Iowa agencies to promote Narrowing the Gap: Connecting Food Industry Employers and Iowans with Disabilities. Keynote Speaker Christine Ha, is a chef with a visual disability and winner of ‘MasterChef’ season 3. The goal of Narrowing the Gap is to kick off an industry/community partnership to train and employ Iowans with disabilities in the food industry.
