DRI Mental Health Advisory Council Membership Announcement
The Protection and Advocacy for Individuals with Mental Illness (PAIMI) Advisory Council is a federally mandated volunteer group. The council consists of individuals who are receiving or have received mental health services, family members of such individuals, attorneys, mental health professionals, and individuals from the public who are knowledgeable about mental illness or advocacy for those with mental illness. The group helps Disability Rights IOWA (DRI) and its Board of Directors decide which issues and priorities DRI should focus on to promote the rights of individuals with mental illness. Below, you can view the Council’s meeting schedule, list of members, and minutes about what happened at their latest meeting.
