Voters with Disabilities to learn more about their candidates’ disability policy platforms

Disability Rights Iowa and the Iowa DD Council are excited to host Disability Dialogue 2024.

Disability Dialogue 2024 is a series of six public forums in each part of Iowa. Each forum invites all legislative candidates from surrounding districts to share their positions on key disability policy issues. The panel conversation will be led by non-partisan moderators. Moderators will ask each candidate the same questions on their disability platforms. Community members are invited to ask their questions when the panel ends. These forums give voters with disabilities a chance to encourage candidates to better advocate for impactful disability rights policy during their term.

Individuals with disabilities are encouraged to attend Disability Rights Iowa events. If you require a reasonable accommodation in order to participate in this event, please email DRI at contact@driowa.org five days prior to the forum. American Sign Language and Captioning will be provided at each forum.

Follow these links to learn more about the forum locations, dates, and districts represented at each forum.
