40/34 Equal Access Festival

40 Years of DRI Advocacy | 34 Years of ADA Rights 

Disability Rights Iowa and Athene North Shore Recreation Area invite you to the 40/34 Equal Access Festival! This festival celebrates Disability Rights Iowa’s 40th Anniversary. DRI’s milestone represents 40 years of steadfast advocacy for Iowans with disabilities. The festival also celebrates the 34th Anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act. 40/34 will be held at the newly opened Athene North Shore Recreation Area.

Tickets for a free lunch will be given to the first 150 people in attendance of the event. Festival attendees who register to attend before July 19th at 11:59 p.m. will receive an extra door prize raffle ticket.

Individuals with disabilities are encouraged to attend Disability Rights Iowa events. If you require a reasonable accommodation in order to participate in this event, please email DRI at contact@driowa.org, or fill out the form linked below, prior to July 15, 2024. In person captioning from 11:30 – 1:30 p.m. and ASL will be provided from 10:30 – 1:30 p.m. for the event.
