Char Joens studied Human Services at Kirkwood Community College. Char previously worked for Goodwill Industries as a counselor, for Westminster Residential Care as a program manager and for Adults Incorporated, Center for Community Integration of Black Hawk County as case manager and behavioral specialist. When not working she enjoys biking, yoga and spending time with her family and pets. Char is grateful that her current position provides the opportunity to empower beneficiaries to report abuse, financial exploitation or suspected misuse of their benefits.
