Christine Newton

a middle aged white woman with blonde curly shoulder length hair sits in front of a water fountain. She has a soft smile on her face and is wearing a black and white curly patterned dress and black blazer.

Finance Director

Christine (Chris) has a BA in Business Management and a Masters in Accounting. She received her degrees from Hamilton Business and Kaplan University. Since graduating she has worked in several different industries but has spent the last several years of her career in the non-profit arena. Notably, she worked as the Finance Manager at Goodwill of Central Iowa. Helping organizations grow financially is at the heart of what Chris does. Her passion for accounting and finance began as a Sophomore in high school. From that time on, Chris has had a strong desire to teach, train, and educate on how to manage personal and professional finances. Chris shares a home with her husband, daughter, three dogs, and two cats. When she isn’t working with anyone and everyone she can on finances, she can be found “needling” around – Chris has a long-standing admiration of cross-stitching and love for learning the art of quilting.
