Danielle Workman

Public Health Advocate

Danielle Workman received a BA in Sociology with a Social Work Concentration from Simpson College in 2011. Danielle is a licensed social worker with an MSW from the University of Iowa. Danielle comes from a strong background in Home and Community Based Services through Lutheran Services in Iowa. Danielle serves the DRI team as a Public Health Advocate, utilizing skills to assist individuals with disabilities to be able to choose and live in community-based settings. Additionally, Danielle is focusing on empowering people with disabilities to know and understand their rights in accessing public health care. Outside of work, Danielle enjoys going to the races with her husband, taking their Black Lab to the dog park, as well as snuggling with their cat at home.
