Staff Attorney
Gloria joined DRI in September 2023. She has a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of California San Diego. She graduated from Drake Law School with high honors in 2023. While at Drake, Gloria was awarded the Merseal Award for Social Justice for her commitment to advancing social justice. She was also the research editor for the Drake Journal of Agricultural Law and was awarded the Outstanding Note Award for her student note, Piracy by Patents: How United States Patent Law Enables Biopiracy. Before law school, Gloria worked in special education in schools in California and in North Dakota. Gloria’s work at DRI consists of special education, employment, and guardianship cases. In her free time Gloria enjoys running, reading, and spending time with her miniature schnauzer, Kuzco.
