Communication Coordinator
Since becoming a team member in 2021, Katelynn has worked to share DRI’s work, staff advocacy, and educational content across the state of Iowa. Katelynn’s passion for the advancement of disability rights started while working as a freelance journalist in her home town and continued through college and now to DRI.
The most impactful work Katelynn has been a part of has led to real procedure change in the acceptance and inclusion of mental health as a disability.
Depending on the season, Katelynn can be found having snowball fights, reading outside on a blanket, or napping with her three dogs Ginsburg, Garbanzo, and Sebelius.
