DRI does not have an income limit or a language requirement to qualify for help.

To request help from DRI please fill out the form on this page. DRI aims to return online requests within two business days.

In person requests at DRI’s office are only available on a limited basis and must be scheduled in advance. 

You can also request assistance from DRI by phone at the numbers below. Please note that there are certain types of cases DRI cannot assist with that are listed on the right side of this page under “Cases DRI cannot take.” Due to our limited resources, if you are reaching out by phone for help with an issue DRI cannot assist with, it is possible we may not be able to return your call. Please leave a voicemail that includes information about when you would be available for us to return your call. DRI aims to return phone calls within 2-4 business days.

Case Selection

To be eligible for DRI services you must meet all the eligibility criteria – be an individual with a disability, have a disability-rights related issue, and that issue must fall under one of our Areas of Focus. If eligible, DRI will consider whether there is adequate personnel and funds to zealously handle the request for assistance.
