Legal Director
Cyndy Miller has been with DRI since 2005 providing individual and systemic advocacy to individuals with disabilities and a focus on Medicaid managed care, children’s mental health and barriers to employment. She received her doctorate of jurisprudence (J.D.) from Drake University Law School with honors. She also has an undergraduate degree in English with distinction from the University of Iowa. Cyndy joined DRI after practicing law in a private practice law firm for five years with a focus on employment law. When not working, she enjoys reading, bell choir and volunteering at church. She is dedicated to expanding our disability rights work to all Iowans with disabilities.
